To harmonize Sofía’s tastes with those of her family and reach a decorative agreement, the interior designer Jeanette Trensig from Cado acted as a mediator. “They wanted a warm atmosphere, but not feminine. The only place with a sweeter, more romantic touch is the master bedroom. The rest of the house has a sober but bold ambiance,” Trensig explains. “The living room is very daring, with a dark gray, almost black color that impresses newcomers,” continues the decorator. They left nothing from the original house (except the natural oak doors in the living room). Sofía, a passionate art and restoration enthusiast, sanded, stripped, and restored many beautiful pieces. In fact, both she and her husband contributed great ideas to the project. “As an ‘amateur,’ you feel a bit insecure when sharing your ideas with a professional, but Jeanette validated them, brought them to life, and gave them that unique touch of hers,” adds the owner.
