The owners of this house were already desperate because they couldn’t find a house to their liking. In reality, their wish list wasn’t complicated: they wanted a single-story home. Something very comfortable and spacious. Then, they found a plot of land in Tarragona that allowed them to build their dream house from scratch, and this was the project given to Pia Capdevila’s studio, together with the architects from ARQ2.17. The great advantage? Planning every inch of the house meticulously. “The idea was a house with modern lines that also had warmth, in our aesthetic of light tones and functional designs,” explains the interior designer. To achieve this, they designed a U-shaped floor plan that receives light and offers views of the exterior from any point in the house. A real pleasure!
