Pine wood is the key feature of this cabin. “Before the renovation, everything was very dark and poorly utilized,” says the decorator Carmen Caubet, who helped the owners with the major transformation. She is convinced that the couple’s insistence on preserving the wood was the best decision. “We decided to remove all the varnish with the challenge of preventing the wood from yellowing.” The owners fell in love with the cabin because they realized it would be a true refuge for them. Along with their excitement, they filled it with ideas. They restored and cared for it, but they also demolished and made way for light and better distribution.
